Relaxed, homey feel. Friendly staff. No frills room and a great location. Breakfast is included, but it is definitely not something to write home about!

We really liked the excellent location of College Crest. Just 5 minutes from Eyre Square, really easy to find from the N17 and carparking facilities. We visited during the Volvo Ocean Race so Galway was extremely busy so it was great to park up for the few days and walk everywhere.
Our bedroom (room 14) was a little cramped. The bed (which was very comfortable) took up most of the floor space so we had to do a little bit of manoeuvering to get in and out.

The College Crest House is a short walking distance from the centre of Galway but it is still quiet and relaxing and in a pleasant neighbourhood. The staff were pleasant courteous and very helpful. We were given a large spotlessly clean well furnished bedroom with comfortable beds and an ensuite large bathroom. The breakfast was superb.

Proximity to Eyre Square which is the heart of the city with lots of pubs, music, restaurants
A bit impersonal - more of a Hotel atmosphere rather than the usual Irish Family Welcome we get in bed & Breakfasts. That said, the place was good overall but there are lots of other B&B's on the same street where we have been made feel more welcome.

Everything! Thanks Helen, my stay was short but it was a very pleasant one. Great location, it really is only a 5 minute walk from Eyre Square, the bus and train station. Breakfast was great. Room was pretty and comfortable. I will recommend it to anyone. Great value for money.

The hotel was quiet and very convenient to the city center. Breakfast was generous and cooked to order.
It would have been helpful to have hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels and such.

Our stay in College Crest House has been great. The room was spacious, clean, lovely decorated and we has lots of light coming through the 2 windows. The bathroom was very clean and shower was good too. The personnel was friendly and we had great choice for breakfast, everything cooked the moment you sit down, fresh fruit and very nice dining area. The house is barely 10 min walk to the city centre and 5 min to the new coach station, which was very useful. If we come back to Galway we'll make sure we'll book the same place.
